Becoming Over Arriving

Comparison is the thief of joy.

There will always be people around us on different paths and at different stages in life. But what truly matters is not where you are on your journey…

It is who you are being in each moment of it.

This message came to me today while listening to a podcast, and it deeply resonated.

If we want to grow, reach new heights, or find peace within ourselves, we must first look inward:
-Who are you right now?
-What stories are you holding onto?
-Are you fully present in your experience?

These questions are not meant to overwhelm you, but to guide you.

Life will always have highs and lows.

The highs are meant to be fully felt and appreciated.
The lows are invitations to go deeper.

To ask yourself:
-What am I holding onto that no longer serves me?
-Why do I continue to carry it?

Now imagine a version of yourself who feels free, aligned, and connected to their passion. How would that version of you show up in this moment?

Notice the difference between where you are and who you could be.

Instead of resisting it, breathe into it.
Send it love.
Allow it to move through you.

Because where you are is always changing. But who you choose to be…That is where everything begins.

A Personal Reflection

Right now in my life, I feel like I am stepping into a new level of growth.

In my business, that looks like expanding my reach, helping more people feel empowered, and creating deeper experiences through my work and community.

In my personal life, it looks like continuing to grow my spiritual practices, creating more art, and being intentional about the experiences I create with my daughter.

And even with all of this growth, I still have days where I feel off.

Days where I don’t feel as aligned, or as productive as I think I “should” be.

On those days, I remind myself of this message.

It’s not about where I am.
It’s about who I choose to be.

Sometimes that means letting go of expectations and allowing myself to simply be present.

That, in itself, is alignment.

On the days where I feel good, I remind myself that it’s not about rushing to the finish line.

It’s about the small, consistent steps I take that keep me grounded and moving forward.

Because the moment I start telling myself I should already be “there,” I pull myself out of alignment and into a space of lack.

And that’s not where I want to live.

So I come back to the present moment.

I come back to who I am being.

And I trust that this is what keeps me on a path that feels not only successful…

But peaceful, fulfilling, and true.
